Episode 27
January 23rd, 2006Well, you may have noticed that there wasn’t a Special Brew last week. There almost wasn’t a podcast this week. Our uploading software for Ourmedia.com has stopped working, for some reason, even though it is supposed to be unlimited and free. Well, since we can’t wait around for things to get repaired because we have wonderful listeners like you who are waiting for their weekly fix of Gaming Goodness, we started up an account at http://www.libsyn.com . Now the downloads should be more accurate and faster. But on to this week’s show, Episode 27!
- We will hopefully have a promotional poster/flyer available this week for anyone who wishes to download it and put it up at your FLGS, school, community center, local gaming convention, etc.
- New podcast from Candestine and Sasha on the message boards - Gamer, the Podcasting
- Take our Listener Survey
- Dragon’s Landing was mentioned in Knights of the Dinner Table November ‘05
- Dragon’s Landing Wikipedia entry by JellyRoll713 - Sadly, the entry is already deceased thanks to the vilgilant effort of Wikipedians like Daniel Case…
- This week, in the Dragon’s Landing Home Brewery:
- TerraGloria
- From the Dungeoneer - A thread filled with deities’ stats on the WOTC boards
- From Mr White - The GameGame
- Brian wanted to give us a look at his gaming setup
- The feature this week was about water-based encounters and how to spice them up
And I think that’s about it. Wednesday I’ll put up the Special Brew that didn’t go up last week. So until then, keep your feet on the ground, and keep reaching for Chupacabras! (That was a bad “Casey Kasem’s Weekly Top 40″ reference, in case you missed it… which you probably did if you are under 25 years old and not from America, so if you fall into this category, forget I said anything… You know, when the disclaimer has to be this long, it’s probably an indication that the joke wasn’t nearly as funny as I thought it was in the first place… Oh, well….)
Special Brew Episode 3 is up! This week we discuss the skill system of Project CHUPA.
